New collection of dining chairs in Dubai

Interiors, a renowned furniture company in the UAE, has unveiled the latest collection of home furnishings from Lexington Home Brands, US.

It has a dedicated gallery within its Dubai showroom to showcase Lexington’s award-winning product line, said a statement.

On the first floor of the newly-opened Cash Converters store on Sheikh Zayed Road, shelves that only a few days earlier had been lined with TVs are now looking a little bare. “I was quite happy last week to have a complete wall of televisions, but they’ve all gone,” laments Fabrice Le Boulenger, managing director of Cash Converters UAE.

For a second-hand store in its first month of operations, it’s not a bad problem to have. And it’s little surprise that Cash Converters’ proposition of high-quality, well-priced second-hand goods is striking a chord in Dubai. With its transient expat population and glaringly underserved second-hand market, the emirate has been crying out for a store like this.

Furniture Dubai sector gets its own dedicated mall

Dubai now has a ‘mall’ exclusively given over to furniture. The Lals Group has opened an 11,612 square-metre, two-storey facility, Zabeel Furniture Mall, in Oud Metha, for a roster of home decor and office furnishing labels and which also includes its in-house Homes R Us brand.

“We are now catering to a new market segment who want premium furniture that is still affordable,” said Jayant Ganwani, CEO. “The mall is marking a significant milestone in our expansion strategy for the region.”
